Helping Those Who Help Others
Because of the economic crunch caused by the ongoing energy crisis, we have been doing our best to assist families in marginalized sectors. Through our Feeding Force Project, we have been distributing food to support farmers, fishermen and transport sector workers. A lot of preparation goes into this, and we rely heavily on our staff. However, our own employees have also been affected by the crisis, and we wanted to show our appreciation for all their hard work.
So, we used some of our savings to purchase gift certificates from Kmart supermarket. Then, we surprised our junior officers and rank and file employees with these gift certificates. All senior officers agreed to not get any so that there would be more funds to treat the rest of the staff. The staff gratefully accepted the gift certificates and excitedly went shopping during their break. Seeing the joy on their faces was priceless!
