70 Children Now on the Road to Better Health and Brighter Futures
On September 25, we enrolled 70 stunted and malnourished children from San Carlos, Negros Occidental in our Mingo Meals Nutrition Program. These children will receive a daily Mingo Meal for an entire year. In addition to that, they will receive supporting inputs that combine wellness coaching and learning sessions for the mothers as well as medical check-ups and developmental play for the children.
Three people sponsored this program. The first two are an NVC Trustee and his wife. Their donation was matched by a donor from the US during our Double Up Challenge to celebrate Nutrition Month in the Philippines.
