NVC has a new logo! The logo’s shades of green represent the leaves of malunggay (moringa), which has differentiated NVC’s Mingo from other similar nutritional food/porridge in the market. The leaves form the wings of a butterfly that can bring us to new heights. Truly, this logo represents NVC today. The logo was designed pro bono by freelance designer and illustrator Joaquin Miguel Ruiz. His work for First Gen Corporation received the Golden Quill Award for Best Annual Report. His design for Manila Water Company and Cebu Holdings, Inc. were also given an Anvil of Merit for annual reports. Aside from his corporate clientele, Jake also has a soft spot for designing collaterals for a cause, having worked on various design projects dealing with human trafficking and autism issues. This soft spot and some persuasion from his mother (he is the son of NVC Trustee Josephine Ruiz) has earned NVC the stature of having a professionally designed logo by an award winning artist. Thank you, Jake!
