A Long-Standing Partnership
NVC Foundation’s partnership with Atty. Leni Robredo, former Vice President of the Philippines (2016-2022), goes back many years. We met in 2014 when she was the congresswoman of her province of Camarines Sur and we’ve been working together ever since.
Our collaboration covers a wide range of projects. Through our Peter Project, she donated boats to fishermen who’d lost theirs to Typhoon Haiyan. She tapped us to be her office’s ground partners implementing a home rebuilding project after Typhoon Odette. And for many years, we supported her office’s Angat Buhay (Uplift Lives) nutrition program.
Though she is now a private citizen, her commitment to serve the Filipino people remains strong. On July 1, 2022, she launched Angat Buhay the Foundation. And on July 13, she signed MOAs with three groups, including NVC. NVC Foundation is now the official Nutrition Partner of Angat Buhay Foundation.

Feeding Children in Communities across the Country
To date, Angat Buhay has sponsored children from Negros, Iloilo and Eastern Samar in the Mingo Meals Nutrition Program. Another province, Northern Samar will join the roster shortly.
