On November 10, 2015, Ayala Foundation turned over 60 sets of fishing nets to fisherman beneficiaries in Cadiz, Negros Occidental. The fishermen were identified in partnership with NVC’s Peter Project, and given motorized fishing boats shortly after they lost their own to Typhoon Yolanda.

NVC’s partnership with Ayala Foundation goes a long way. They have helped us provide 131 fishing boats and 126 fishing nets, repair 40 boats and provide nutrition for kids from impoverished families in many parts of the Philippines.
