On September 19, the San Isidro Farmers of Hope from Davao del Norte in Mindanao kicked off a special project. They began laying the groundwork for a mushroom cultivation shed. And construction of the cultivation shed started the following weekend.  The group has already successfully raised mushrooms on a very small scale in the past and this promises to be a bigger and more exciting venture. This high-value crop will change the lives of these 89 farmers and their families.
